Stunningly gorgeous soft rock, bringing to mind some kind of homogenization of the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and the Bee Gees. The music is a textured backdrop for the lush, poignant vocals. And while I called it soft rock, the slide guitars give it a hint of country, and tho the music is mellow the vibe is so melancholic as to almost be considered edgy.
